Maurice Maxie founded Identity to Impact Consulting on a conviction built over more than 15 years leading HR and organizational transformation: organizations don't underperform because of a lack of talent or resources. They underperform because identity and execution are misaligned. His firm exists to close that gap.
Before launching Identity to Impact, Maurice served as Vice President of Human Resources at Personify Health (formerly Virgin Pulse), where he led HR strategy for a 3,000+ employee, PE-backed organization through multiple mergers and acquisitions. His leadership delivered a reduction in administrative workload, a gain in process efficiency, and seamless post-merger integration across benefits, systems, and culture. Earlier, he held senior roles at Honeywell, Athenahealth, and Liberty Mutual, building a cross-sector toolkit spanning private, public, and PE-backed environments.
Maurice's approach is grounded in the Identity to Impact Operating Model, a framework connecting organizational identity to disciplined execution and measurable outcomes. Whether partnering with a CHRO navigating post-merger integration, a CEO realigning a leadership team, or a PE-backed operator building for scale, Maurice brings structured thinking, executive-level credibility, and a bias for results.
He holds an A.L.M. in Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wofford College. Maurice also serves as a civic leader, with board service at the United Way of Greater Atlanta, Emory University's Board of Visitors, and the Georgia Department of Education's Computer Science Advisory Council.
